you only sandblast if you are going to repaint or powder coat or something like that. By sandblasting you have more of a chance at parts rusting due to removing the protective coating. You don't want to sand blast just to do it, its not the way you want to get parts cleaned.
I know that sand blasting is not a way of cleaning car parts. Im directing this towards people that don't have access to a sand blaster and want to paint parts.
