So, I have a couple of idea of where to take / what to do with my girlfriend on valentines day, but would like your ideas and maybe you guys can come up with something kind of unique. It doesnt have to be a new idea, it can be something you did a while back thats kinda a cool idea or something. Just want to see what guys have typically done for their ladies on this upcoming day.

i surprized mine last year. drove down from college and she wasnt expecting it.
my girl is addicted to movies, so out to eat, then hittin up the local blockbuster, prob get about ten movies. then she'll do whatever i say

You don't really have to spend money... or at least not a lot. Think about your girl and do something special that she will like. It doesn't always have to include cash (well... some women are like that and they need a wakeup call).
Hell, I'd be thrilled if Jason brought me to test drive cars all day or if we were to swap my transmission into my car.

I don't understand this whole, "bring me to an expensive restaurant, buy me chocolates and lingerie (okay... I do understand the panties and such because she'll put them on and you'll take them off) and jewelry" deal. I think it's cool to just put the day aside for the two of you. A movie in, curled up on the couch together, maybe make dinner. Sure, that can cost money, but it doesn't have to cost a lot. It's more the effort or attention to detail that gets to me than how much is spent on me.

im going to class, and then who know, i dont have to worry about buying anything cause I'm still single... this time of the year and Christmas its nice, minus the crap feeling of still being alone
