This is to discuss issues while applying brakes. It is a 2011 model Civic. My car has covered 16700kms now. Last day, I noticed some strange sound while applying brakes. My mechanic said the problem can be due to the faulty caliper or some issues with the pads and rotors. I need to know about the lifetime of these spare parts in Civic. It would be great if I can get the opinion from the 2011 Civic owners.
