after a great many months on and off dicking around with the car.. finally got it to fire up..

still have a bunch of gremlins to deal with..
car has to be tuned.. there is some massive exhaust leak..
timing is way off running rich.. so it is still sluggish..

but.. it drives none the less.. I did everything besides the actual internal motor build..

I'm kinda disappointed...

I really figured you would turbo this or atleast supercharge it!

Meh, oh well. Its still nice!

oh man, get the timing on and remove gremlins. I really want to see it running perfectly, it already sounds great.

Supercharged it, you will be glad you did, sounds pretty good though.

just to be clear that is barely part throttle and there is still a ton of nonsense wrong with it.. the car would have been done ages ago but I ran into some issues.. lost my job.. am in the middle of relocating to another state.. so things happen.. I considered putting a blower on it.. and if funds change I might... but it is more than likely going to just get sprayed like my civic.. I like nitrous.. especially when there are budget issues.. but at any rate.. it is running.. and once I tie up the few loose ends I should be good since all the sensors, wiring, and computer is gone.. while mustang EFI is great.. I wanted the simplicity of carb.. and that is where I am at now.. so I am pretty happy with it..

Looks good Anthony.

Timing and tuning carbs can be a b***h, but well worth the time (or $) to get it done right. We just did a Caprice with a rebuilt 355, came in running like dog s**t, left trying to burn the stock tires off at 1/2 throttle.
