Need help installing auxiliary port on 1999 Honda Civic!!

right now I have a clarion head unit installed that came with the car. see it here http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products-personal/past-products/audio/DB265MP/index.html
I dont have a cd or tape player and would like someway to play through either my android phone or ipod.
I have practically no experience working with cars. Can you guys point me in the right direction?

To answer your question. Ditch that head unit for one that can actually play from your phone through blue tooth. The one you posted doesn't have aux capabilities from what I can tell.

That's a pretty old head unit. I'm with Cary; upgrade to a modern one.

new, modern unit will be $50-100.. sell that one for $20 and buy a new unit. i prefer the Alpine entry level units at the lower-end price point.

Check cl or a junkyard. I bought a 7 inch flipout for $20 at a local salvage yard
