I'm a relatively new driver without a car of my own. I'm on a tight budget and a Civic is a potential car for me, and I'm interested in doing some work on it (modding a car just seems like fun). Yet I know nothing at all about automobiles. Where could I start? Could anyone recommend a book, or online guide or something? Also what generation of civic? Thanks for any help =)

Oh, and I like going fast and I like racing. But I'm not a total idiot about it.

How would you like going fast and racing if your new to driving..

If you wanna go fast and race, a civic is NOT for you.

by saying that u like racing do you mean watching it on tv and playing racing games? and what type of racing do you like? hondas dont make the best drag cars. but on curvy roads much fun can be had, you just have to be a good driver. most people on here will tell u to take it to the track, and i must agree.
