No Audio

2003 Honda Civic. When I turn on radio it plays for 2 to 5 secs. then I lose audio. Power, clock, and radio station still on just no sound. Any suggestions?

Stock? Aftermarket? Does it have an amp?

Please post your year, trim, and any mods done to the car in EVERY new thread you make (it's in the rules which should have been reviewed before you started posting). To begin to help you, we need to know what you are working with. Until then, it is just guessing and that doesn't help anyone.

no factory amp option on those cars

either the internal amp in the radio is shot and radio needs to be replaced or one of your speakers is grounding out which is why music stops

Yes, not from the factory but at this point in time we have no idea if it is still factory or not.
