No Chilton's for Hybrids?

Hi Folks,

I am a new member of this forum and a proud owner of my first car. She's a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid with a manual Trans. Unfortunately, she's a jalopy.

Fortunately, my wife and I are pretty handy with cars (though never tried a hybrid). I am trying to find a manual to supplement my YouTube education. Is there anything that you might suggest that's useful and reputable? It seems difficult to find one (understandably). We're currently pretty stumped with an issue and we'd rather try all of our options before taking her to a mechanic.

Thanks!
P

You wont find Chilton's or manuals on store shelfs to find Hybrid manuals simply because people are not trained to work in high voltage and treat it the same as low voltage without paying attention.

You grab a hold of the wrong wires and its game over. Hybrids and EV's hold a lot of stored energy in their batteries and also have high amperage output which can lead to severe injury or death.
