Oil Catch Can

Can someone please explain the purpose of an oil catch can to me???
And how easy are they to install??
Are they srtictly for cars with a turbo??

If you're talking about the can that you put the valve cover breather hose on, it's for excess oil from the head. It's required for regulated competition events, such as SCCA.

Oil catch can is for turbo.. Dont need it. Easy install..I dont even use it..
