Not entirely new to me but it's officially mine now. Picked it up from my friend who barely did anything with it, just a toy for him. I raced it, did more work on it and kept it at my place the majority of the time he owned lol. Just got it to be more competitive at a national level since this car is a good bit faster than my black civic I race. I'm signed up to do a Pro Solo with this car in April and hope to take it to Nationals this year in August over in Topeka, Kansas.

Just a quick pic of it with the other race car when I got home.

And yes, the stickers are staying =)

So now I have 3 generation Civics... '91, '95 and '99 lol

Yeah it wasn't mine, I just raced it a ton last season and did well with it lol.

Chassis has 275k miles on it.

Engine:
Rebuilt D16A6 to max stock tolerances according to SCCA ST* rules
AEM Cold Air Intake
DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Header
Loud, buzzy, ricey, annoying, ugly eBay exhaust but surprisingly very light weight
A/C Delete including non-A/C crankshaft pulley
*Maybe an aftermarket ECU, previous owner wasn't sure and I'm not sure, need to check*

Suspension/Brakes:
Koni Yellow Sports
Ground-Control coilover sleeves
Hypercoil springs with 450lbs/in front and 550lbs/in rear
Energy Suspension LCA-shock bushings
Suspension Techniques Adjustable 7/8" rear swaybar
Adjustable rear swaybar endlinks
SPC Rear adjustable camber kit
Some stainless steel braided brake lines, don't know what company
Hawk HPS front brake pads.

Wheels/Tires:
Enkie RPF1 15x7 +35 wheels
195/50R15 Toyo R1R's

Interior:
Momo Competition steering wheel
Corbeau seat for driver side
Have a Sparco seat but needs rails for passenger side

Exterior:
Removed side moldings
Custom decals printed, cut and applied by SSC Tint & Graphics.

I think that's it. Nothing too crazy but the car is great for racing.

Thanks guys!

The car is classed the same as my black one. The reason this one is faster is because it is ~100lbs lighter(with more weight to lose), lower COG and has a shorter wheel base. The black '95 has more whp, but compared to this car, it almost feels like a pig handling wise. And the '95 handles exceptionally well so that speaks loudly on how well balanced this car is.

good to see you can stay in the same class, but have a better handling car and you have talked to me about how good the black civic handles so thats saying something in my book.

Most of the pics I have are older pics from last season with the old shoes on.

These are the last ones I took which was right after putting on the new Enkie shoes but just before I returned the car to the previous owner at the end of the season.

Don't have any, never bothered. If you've seen Koni/GC's and a rear swaybar, then you pretty much know what this looks like lol.

Not much more I can do that I can really afford and this car doesn't really need a whole lot more. Only things I'm thinking about currently is removing stereo, possibly a smaller radiator, get seat bracket for passenger side to put Sparco seat in, shift knob from my sponsor Karcepts, and new Toyo R1R tires. Need to see if a smaller radiator is legal for my class. Hoping to get a new set of tires within the next 3 weeks before the big Pro Solo event I'm doing.

Does anyone know, FOR SURE, if the '91 Civic Si's stereo was an option from the factory?? Need to know before I remove it.

Oh and forgot, lightweight battery that will be a loaner from my black civic lol.

Very cool!

It's refreshing to see this, built for functional racing, something you actually get out there, run and have fun with!
:thumbs up

Plus I LOVE the 4th gen chassis!

I believe it was optional. I looked it up, and Edmunds says it was optional.

Very nice! I'm so glad I got out of Auto-X. It's insanely addicting.
