Power window lift motor

Hi, I've recently installed a new power window regulator to my 2000 Honda civic, which was originally manual crank. Unfortunately, when I bought the regulator I didn't realize it had 4 wires instead of the normal 2 wires to the motor. I've wired a switch to provide +12V and -12V for the raising and lowering but I am unsure what the remaining two wires are for. From probing with a multimeter and research online, my best guess is the blue wire is anti-pinch and the green is auto reverse. I do not care for these extra features, but the problem is my motor wont run with only power and ground connected and my current assumption is that the two other wires have to be providing/receiving some sort of signal. Has anyone run into a similar situation or knows how to get around the safety feature or even if my assumptions are correct?
