Alright guys I know this has been asked thousands of time but I would like help from the group!!

Car.

97 Ex Coupe D16y8 (Spun Crank Bearing)
5-Speed Trans
Cruise control (I think this was added)
AC

First I'd Like to know what you guys think I should do?

Rebuild a new D-series with the goal of turbo?

Or swap a B-series into the car?

I like the hp numbers and possiblites of the B series swap.....

This is what i was thinking. (What do you think)

Swap a B18c1 into car OBD 2 w/ Trans and LSD Till I build the B20

Then Build Ground up B20 Vetc Swaping GSR parts off B18

Turbo and Tune!

Now I do have questions on the swap of the B18

Do i use the Integra Axles or the Civic Axles?

Will i be able to keep all the creator comforts of AC and Cruise Control

Do i have to pull all the engine wiring harness out of the civic and replace with the harness for the teg?

The last question i have, is this something that can be accomplished in the driveway over the weekend.

both setups should be able to support the addition of a turbo and this isnt something i wanna do more than once.. So it needs to be reliable and have street manners!!

I also have a limited budget for now so any ideas where i can get these part reasonable would help.

Thanks for the time guys! I look forward to disscussing this

Not b20 with turbo, I hear they don't play nice with boost... but a GSR with turbo. gooo for it!

before you decide on a engine to build, you need to first decide what your horsepower goals are.

HP for a build

Well from the website i was looking at. I would be able to make in the 400 plus range for with a b20 rebuilt from the ground up with b16 cranks and H beams and B20 pistions with a gsr head and resleeved..

But that is way over my buget for right now. In the mean time I need a cost effective way to get the car back up and running and still have enough power for some fun!!!
