These are the products I use too, so if you wish to find a full how-to, I've posted some before. =)

Oh, and I like to use the NXT Wax most of the time just because of it's ease of use in all kinds of weather. It's easy to deal with in cold and heat, humidity, etc. It's also advertised as Meguiars' longest lasting wax.

i dont get it? im supposed to have all of those products? and what about places like tucson where theres high dry heat say around 105*-110* from sunrise to noon, then thunder showers from noon to dusk which results in high humidity and 80* temperatures? kinda complicated but is there any thing that will protect my paint for that?

This really isn't an advice thread. Mainly just a shopping list of high-quality detailing products. If you'd like advice from other people who have more experience detailing in adverse weather conditions, I'd suguest making a thread. Don't know how to help you, I've never had to work in those conditions.

I think this is just to show our "shopping" or stock list. Just like other people have done in the past for detailing. =)

Not that everyone needs to have these products...not at all. Just to give people an idea of what kinds of products might be good choices.

oh btw Eran, how do I go about cleaning my trim? Ive polished and waxed my car a few times over the years, but I slip sometimes and the "goop" has gotten on the trim around my windows and seems to have stained parts "white" and other flavors... is that even possible to get off? I actually dropped a bottle of turtle-wax polish on my driveway earlier this year and the white-spots are still visible... haha.

Yeah, that Wax Blaster product I listed up there from Urethane Supply :thumbs up.

Also, the NXT Tech Protect seems to do a pretty good job of removing wax from my trim, or at least masking it.

Urethane Supply also has a Black Trim stuff (yellow and black bottle) that will re-dye the black trim. IT IS MESSY. Test this product on other things before you use it on anything you want to keep. It is runny and it advises you to mask, though I'm sure it'd run right down the tape. I'm sure it could be polished off of well waxed paint easily, but best not to have to worry about that.

yes , you need a good polymer wax that wont break down with the sun and heat also a good polymer wax has a uv rating also !! soo it wont fade your paint

Too bad they only carry Meguiars

I'm trying to move away from meguiars and into some more professional products. My birthday is coming up soon, and I'm either gonna ask for a porter or just a whole bunch of detailing stuff from Wolfgang, Pinnacle, and 3M.
