Im doing a wire tuck right now and i decided to remove my cruise control. Theres 2 plugs that go into the unit from the harness , i was wondering if i had to de-pin those wires from the harness or will they be good unplugged?

Unplugged is unplugged. If you are afraid of it shorting against something, find something non-conductive to cover the pins.
