i try to avoid doing big things locally (buying or selling). but i need new wheels so i'm selling my current ones.. the amount is over $500, is there anything i can do to ensure that the cash is legit or anything else i need to watch out for..

i ask, since i'm pretty sure some of you have done it before.. i was thinking about asking him to give me a money order, i dont know, maybe that way it wont be a hassle..

opinions? help me out a bit..
