So a guy wants to sell me a box with 2 10" inch subs sony xplods with a amp 760 watt and with the deck all of it sony for 50$ good deal ? yes no? what do you guys think of sony xplods?

Sony is terrible in car audio, but i guess for 50 it isn't that bad
can you explain why its bad in general for car audio?
Their hu's are weak..terrible eq's, low voltage preouts.
their speakers can't handle much power, very inefficient..you won't get an ounce of bass out of them..
the subs are muddy & boomy
their amps have high thd ratings, and don't do rated power
all in all, you won't get jack for 50 bucks. ca audio is expensive, and u get what u pay for.

sony claims to be more rms then what they really are.
i did a comparason between them and weak mtxs,
my 2 10 inch mtx subs (400 rms/1600 peak) were way better against 2 12 1200rms sonys as well as my 400 mtx amp over the 1200 sony amp.
save and get kicker subs, i have a 12 inch l5 and its mad loud with my 2000 spl amp (180$ ebay) loud as hell!
