Stock Honda Civic Ej9 ecu tuning?

Hello, does anyone here know what i would need to tune a stock ecu on the ej9 civic hatch? And if so, how? And can it be done without buying an aftermarket ecu? Any help is Appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately you cannot tune the stock ECU because it's ODB2. You'd need a chipped ODB1 ECU, then you'll be able to tune it.

Thanks for the reply, what sorts of ecu's can i get and where? An url or brand name etc would be alot of help. I should mention that my civic is European, if that could any significance, thanks in advance.

Google is your friend. You still need a Honda ECU.

You have an non-Vtec motor, so you'll need a non-Vtec ECU. P06 ECU perhaps?
