Stuck door

I have a 94 civic lx sedan and my back right door has a broken handle on the outside, so it is unable to be opened from the outside of the car. I was going to fix it but someone had flipped the child lock in the door jam and now it is unable to open from either side. Suggestions on how to fix this?

Go through the trunk? There should be plastic T-handle levers up top that you can pull out. They will unlatch the seats to allow them to fold down.

I'm speaking from experience from my 6th gen and I'm not sure if it differs from a 5th gen.
