Suspension suggestions?

Sup guys. New here. Got a quick question.
I have a 97 LX, manual. Suspension is all stock.
My question is, what should I do first to improve suspension?
I've heard different suggestions like: strut bars, subframe, control arms.
This car is my every day driver and ultimately, I just want to improve the turning and sway.
Any feedback helps, thanks!

Top 2 things you can do for suspension.
Coilovers
Swaybars

Make sure the bushings are in good shape before you start building it though

Well of course the first thing is to make sure every other component of your car is working reliably.

Rear sway bar (SI, CTR, ITR or Progress 22mm should be good).  These applications will be installed differently, some bolt on, some need other lower control arms, and modification.
New springs+shocks/coilovers (Koni/GC) for a smoother ride that can be adjustable to your liking
Koni Yellow shocks are adjustable, as the Ground Control coilover springs, this combo usually has a lifetime warranty and in the end is the best investment coilover-wise.
Fresh suspension bushings. It will be very costly to get a shop to install though.
Fresh tires and an alignment too.

^ all of that
and if you run a sway bar that big you will need a subframe brace
after all of that or before the other big things, but after you check and make sure everything is in working order the most common and cheapest, but that also means less efective suspension mods are
front and rear strut tower bar
front and rear tie bar
