thanks for pointing out that post. I've been visiting your site on my iPhone b/c my comp crapped out so I didn't see it. Basically what I got from the thread is that our 7th gens are junk and that there isn't much one can do to improve Performance aside from an engine swap. I guess I'll just go with exhaust and an intake for now. If anyone has more suggestions pls let me know.
