Over the past 2 weeks if I drive my car hard my tires will chirp when I shift into 2nd, after it happens I usually slow down so I dont know if it will do it beyond 2nd gear, is this good or bad? If bad, how can I fix it?

Thanx

its probably just when you shift gears, you are kind of popping the clutch and lighting your tires up...

just like laying a black patch in first... i think its totally normal dude :thumbs up:

Basically its just your tires loosing traction. Its normal. As for doing it in after second gear, it is very very hard to do because the lack of power that civics have.

dude a car that can sqwak tires through all its gears has major hp. I saw a Viper clip doing just that.....Its not a bad thing just slow your shifts down if you don't like it.

When my car was new and broken in (~20k miles), she could chirp in 4th gear ... only did it a few times, but haven't been able to reproduce it.

its totally normal. a second gear scratch isnt a bad thing. just means your hitting your sweet spot in the toirque curve when your shifting from 1st to second.
