I was looking at different types of honda motors in a book of mine, and I saw 2 types of VTEC that I didn't even know existed. VTEC-E and VTECi. I was wondering if anyone could explain exactly what these two are please?

The big difference in iVTEC is that there is variable cam timing. Basically the camshafts will retard or advance during operation to move the torque curve lower or higher based on rpm, throttle input, and engine load (measured by vacuum). This is what allows the K20Z3 such an amazing powerband.
