Hi, I have a 1991 civic hatchback. The windows have never been quite solid, they rock back and forth, and in order to get a decent seal i have to simultaneously pull the driver's side window in and back while rolling it up. With time it's getting harder and harder to hit that "sweet spot" and it's just a pain to have the window not work 100% so I've gotta fix it.
I figure this is some issue with the regulator, and I'm wondering, what exactly might that issue be? Is it possible to adjust the mechanism from inside, or is this some to- be - expected wear and tear on the vehicle, so I ought to just order a new regulator online and replace the loose one? Could it be another part of the window mechanism?
