Hatch_Of_Doom
Derek, or more commonly known as Hatch_of_Doom, is well known around the board. He perhaps is best known for his domestic death stories but not all know the history of his car. He bought his 94 Dx EH2 for 2000 flat from a dealership. His only problem was the car had Hondas trademark weak automatic transmission and low horsepower rating. Derek was determined to build a beast despite a high school budget and seemingly dead-end power plant. In anticipation of future dual cams, he put aside money from each pay check for a Japanese high hp motor. His hard work was paid off with a sir-II b16a. Derek’s b16 exhales through an apexi N-1 exhaust. The hatch sits aggressively with skunk 2 coilovers. His car rolls on Rota group N’s and are resisted by Rotora rotors and Hawk brake pads. His front end is noticeably fitted with a Vis carbon fiber hood and mugen style front lip. Derek has turned his focus to collecting JDM parts. Parts of his car are constantly being replaced with authentic Japanese pieces. Every upgrade he makes, his car increasingly resembles magazine material. Dereks hatch has truly become a “Hatch of Doom” to those who appose him in the streets. Good work Derek and Congratulations !
