Wiper troubles

91 sedan driver side wiper doesn't move passenger side seems to work fine. I grabbed the wiper and it wiggles a lot but the nut isn't loose so what should I do to fix it? If something needs to be taken part I wouldn't mind a little insight on how to go about taking whatever it is apart. Thanks in advance...

Sounds like the splines are stripped out. Pull the wiper arm off and look at them. If they are stripped.....that can be a tough fix. You may have to go to the junk yard and look for another set up.

I feel you. I'm just not sure if anybody in 100 mile radius would even have a civic my generation in their junk yard. So when I call to ask about the part I need what do I ask for?

What is pipes? I'm 100 miles north of n.o 75 northeast of br and even further from any other place.

So why exactly is this such a tough fix?

Your best bet is to buy the hole motor n transmission assembly

The transmission is consider the rods/arms that you can't see that control the spine the actual wiper arms connect to

Ok so I should just get a new motor? I just looked up the part and the pics I saw show rod and motor in one package
