Wiring Question

I just bought a 2010 Honda Civic LX four door and I have some questions about the wiring. The car runs perfectly fine but there's some wires that are cut here's some pictures below. Can anyone tell me what these wires were originally for? Overall, nothing is really wrong with the car starting up or driving or gauges but I'm curious as to what I should do about these. Should I get them removed or just leave them how it is?

First picture has some sort of brown or dark red wire. Second picture has a turquoise/green and purple wire connected together but not going anywhere. Third picture it has a couple red and orange wires just cut

Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned or it's some sort of alarm system or remote start that was removed?

Just taking a stab at it -- Was the car equipped with an alarm system that no longer works?

Enter your VIN at Majestic Honda to see what accessories were stock equipped.
I have absolutely no clue that's why I'm asking. What are these wires for? And should I be concerned? Should I rip them out?

Put electrical tape around each one so they don't make ground contact and mess up your circuits. Easiest "fix"

Gotcha, but would you or anyone else know what these wires could be for?

Try to trace the wires and see where they go? if they go to a bundle of other wires like a harness, or goes towards a horn, or such things.

So turns out the purple wire turns into a yellow wire:

Turns out following the wires up more they all come into one big bundle all together connecting to something inside the steering wheel and then running up through the car upwards somewhere:

If your curiosity really compels you to find out what those wires were for, you can buy something like a Triplett fox and hound tracer, which you can attach to the open wire end, and then use the sniffer probe to help trace where it leads to without having to pull everything apart.

Measure the wire beforehand with a DMM to see if there's any voltage on it with respect to ground and with respect to battery voltage. That would tell you if it's attached to anything or if it's just a hanging wire.

Otherwise just tape it off and forget about it if there's no issues with anything. Unless you subscribe to the "if it ain't broke, fix it so it is" camp ;)

Looking at the pictures in those links it looks like someone removed an aftermarket alarm system or Remote starter. That's why you see a yellow butt connector, half wrapped electrical tape and wires that turn different colors in there, those wires were spliced in when they wired the aftermarket alarm and they just cut it out when they removed it. I would agree with the person in the comments that said put tape on any exposed wires and leave it. It won't hurt the car if you leave them in there as long as they are spliced correctly.
