Ys1 trans question

What's good cc. I'm finally starting to get back into the Honda game and I've recently bought a 91 civic dx hatch for a steal. I bought it for $150....it was a complete rolling she'll just no seats, engine and trans....now I bought a ys1 LS trans and I've been wondering on the FD(final drive) numbers... I've done some research and I've found two different answers on the first it says the FD is 4.4 http://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/official-b-series-transmission-clutch-guide-2931549/
... I also found this one saying the FD is 4.266 http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/temp/Bgears.htm
I just want to know what I have since it's my first cable trans... Any help is appreciated thanks...

Looking at the disclaimer on the ff-squad link:
The 4.266 final drive is a debatable spec. If you look in a Helms manual for the 99+ Si Coupe, you will see that 4.266 is the final drive spec. Eddy Lin has found that to be false - he physically took a 99+ Si tranny apart and counted the final drive teeth which calculated to a 4.40 final drive ratio. So, yeah..it's debatable, but I believe it to be a 4.40, even though the Helms manual could be (and probably is) wrong.
This concurs with what HT link says, so it sounds like 4.4 is the correct spec.
