Do I need a kpro cam gear if I got a stage 2 cam or just springs and retainers with an adjustable cam gear.

Wtf are you saying?

Do you have a K series engine?

If YES, it has an adjustable intake cam gear, the VTC gear. Buying one wouldn't do anything extra for you, so that's stupid.

If you have a stage 2 cam, and the specs call for valve springs and retainers to be upgraded, you upgrade them.

Also, if it's a K series engine, you NEED Hondata/KTuner/AEM EMS period.

Lol as if an ep3 isn't a 7th Gen civic with a K series.

As if EM2s haven't been K swapped before either.

Anyway, my information still holds true. An adjustable cam gear isn't necessary but it is beneficial when tuned... and how else would you tune it without an engine management system? ;) This is simple stuff

You post NO information about what you are working with. Is everyone supposed to guess what you are working on?

Thread Makers: Thread titles must summarize the technical question or problem, and the first post must include the year, trim, and any mods for your Civic.
