B16a1 on 92 civic Si sedan

I don't see the competition between option 1 and option 2. Option 1 pretty much is the way to go. Don't worry about those ebay performance chips, adjustable cam gears, or the light weight flywheel. You need to beef up your clutch before the flywheel. You need cams to even have a use for those...

why does my motor kick so hard?

I would just like to clarify that it is spelled Vtec. And your power to weight ratio would probably explain a lot. It is time to turbo it, you need more of a kick. :P

I hate snow too, but if it's cold, it might as well be snowing too. You know, make it somewhat worth my while. That and I live on a dirt road that is rather secluded, so I kind of treat it as my rally track with my DD. haha

I'm really looking forward to the snow. I don't know about you guys, but Michigan has had like no snow all winter. Everyday I'm tempted to wash my car, but I never end up doing it, for fear of salt just ruining it anyways. :(

Yes sir! Kennedy Engineering makes them for the VW bus trans to J series motors. It'll fit a J30, J32, and J35. The clutch and flywheel are custom made by a sand rail company already as well. -Josh

Thanks for the interest everone! The VW trans, axles, etc. were already in sand rail from the previous motor, it just made more sense to get the adapter plate and save some money / time!
