    broken rod......help.

Everything GT said, and if you spun and melted the bearing and are hearing the clack of the rod end on the crank you probably damaged the crank somewhat. Another thing that could have happened is you may have produced enough free play at the crank to allow piston to head contact or piston to...

    BEST coilover setup under 1k

Last time I checked H&R makes suspension components for million plus dollar race cars, not to mention $200K plus street cars. I don't think I've ever seen 'Function and Form' on a GT1 car or a raced 911 before. How about Bilstein? You get what you pay for most of the time. If the F&F stuff...

    Side View Mirrors don't work

I put in my first non-stock part today... wait for it... wait for it... a shift knob from an early 90's Integra! I'm sooo ricer now. ;)

    BEST coilover setup under 1k

I'd say save your money for a couple more months and buy a known high quality setup. I'm thinking of the H&R Pro Street Coil-over setup ($1100). Excellent product, excellent company, with a concrete reputation. I always say, 'Cry once, smile forever after'. You never have to worry about...

    Finally Lowered My Civic!

oc_civic is preaching, and you should listen. Yes you could put 18" rims and 215's on your car (possibly requiring having your fenders rolled, wheel spacers, and extended studs), but you aren't going to gain enough of anything to make it worth the time or money. Plus without ample ways to...

    wheel bearings

If your car is stock, buy stock Honda wheel bearings. If money is a problem, get some Federal/Mogul bearings.

    Skid Plates

Yes, they do make skid plate kits for the Civic. They are at 'd**k Cepek' right next the the raising blocks, heavy duty leaf springs, and side step-ladders. Most guys don't add the skid plates until they install Honda's optional double Dana locker 4x4 kit though. Jesus... if your car is that...

    car shakes at 100 km/h

The problem is, that a wheel balancing machine does not balance the wheel 'at speed' or while it's in operation on a car. Just because it is in static balance at 20mph doesn't mean that it will still be sufficiently in balance at 100mph. Most people just take for granted that it does. The...

    question on lowering springs

Start by looking up the specs on the Tokico model you have, or by calling their customer service and asking what spring rate(s) they recommend. You can't expect any kind of ride quality without matching them by spec, in addition you'll wear out the shocks double time with too stiff a spring...

    Wheels

They make a bigger difference when they actually help the car perform better. For whoever just needs eye candy, these look like a great deal @ that price... and 14" will definitely save you money on tires.

    Thieves

Buy an alarm with a page/cell report function and a turn the sensitivity on the shock sensor way down. You don't even have to connect an alarm horn to it if you don't want too. Come out with a shotgun barrel resting on your shoulder and casually ask if they need any help. One time at our...

    Camber Kits

A camber kit will allow you anywhere from stock adjustment to + or - 5 degrees of camber depending on the kit. Putting one in has no negatives except cost, and positives like proper alignment, and normal tire wear. Past a certain amount of drop they are required unless you want to look like a...

    Si's bubbling clear coat

I'd recommend some alloy/anodized lugs too... since they're covered in rust and look just as bad as your wheel.

    gsr problems

Yes... your problem is you lent your car out. That's like loaning your girlfriend out. And not getting paid for it. Actually, your engine is now 'frozen' as a result of running with no 'anti-freeze'. Get a hairdryer out and be prepared to spend a whole day defrosting it.

Damn, that's a good price. Can you find me some manual mirrors in black that cheap? = )

    Side View Mirrors don't work

Cool, They're on my car right now as replacements for my manual mirrors which had broken adjusters. They are just manually adjusted currently since I'm not wired for power. I'm getting black ones in the next week or so that are the manual type.

    Side View Mirrors don't work

I think the '92 is the same body style as the '95. I'd have to double check. I have 2 power mirrors, they're white but otherwise fine. I could part with them for the right $.
