havnt read too much on it yet. i had an 05 type s and i loved my k20z1 . alittle quicker then the 02-04 cuz of the type-r internals they threw in so most likely start at that for the powerplant( the main difference between those years)

Heading up to vermont tomorrow or should i say later on today lol and too excited to sleep so @ 8 im going to start painting my side skirts woot woot!...

Are you really gonna K swap? You do know how labor intensive it is right?

The k20z1 only has type r camshafts. Nothing else from a type r. The 10 crank horsepower increase comes from the combo of the cams, larger exhaust, and the ecu. so the z1 motor isn't that much better than an a2 motor. What block are you going with since you mentioned a k24/k20 build?

tsx block or jdm accord block. type-s head. currently looking at turbo kits

A tsx block and jdm accord block are basically the same except CR's are different. Both wouldn't benefit from a type s head depending on the year of the block. 06+ tsx's have a head that flows just as well as a type s but also has 1mm larger intake valves, the most aggressive camshafts out of all the k series motors and improved p2v clearance.

If you want a frank motor, you'd be better off with a crv or regular accord block and rebuilding it and using a type s head due to the high prices of the stronger k24 motors.

jdm front clip of what??? an EK9 for your chassis to be upgraded, or a jdm front clip of a K series donor?

what's the point behind your not so usual combination of head and block?
