04 civic lx 5speed hesitation

I'm new to the Honda family and I just bought an 04 lx 5speed. When I let off the clutch in first gear and sometimes second, it seems to hesitate and almost feel like the front wheels are spinning a bit. It's kinda worrisome, is there something wrong with my pressure plate or transmission, or is it just a civic thing? I've heard both. Thank you in advance

Definitely not normal. Not that I have ever experienced. Would need further diagnosis though. Could be anything from an ignition miss, to a fuel hiccup, to a bad slipping clutch, to something internal in the transmission. To vague to pinpoint through words over the forum, especially given the limited information in the post.
