08 civic independent fog help plz!!

Ok so I am trying to make the fogs for my 08 civic to come on whenever i want not when just the parking lights are on. I have an aftermarket harness that only has the one white/red wire that is inserted into the white plug under the dash.. if anyone has mastered this it would be much appreciated if you could help me out. I dont mind cutting/splicing I just dont know where to attach the wires :/

You can buy a switch from any auto parts store and should be able to just run it inline with the wires. This way when you flip the switch 'ON', it completes the circuit and turns the lights on. When you flip it 'OFF', it breaks the circuit and shuts them off.

yeah I would run a rocker switch and mount it somewhere in the dash and then just wire it into the positive or ground wire going to the fog lights
