1.5 to 1.8 hatchback

i have a 1990 honda ef hatch and im putting a 1.8 acura ls in it, the motor is a 92. are the cv axles interchangeable?

I'm not sure what you mean by interchangeable. But if you do the swap, you will need the B18 axles.

the 92 motor has the half shaft, so i bought two stock civic axles to fit the hub and changed the end that goes into the motor and transmission. but on the passenger side, its about an inch too long from going back into the ball joint. could the motor mounts not being tightened all the way down be a problem? or do i need different cv axles?

use the axles for the motor/make/yr.. unless a custom application. bottom line.
