Hey guys, I threw code P1381 last week on my civic and went searching around on the site to find out what this was.
P1381 Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor Intermittent Interruption
Found a thread which I couldn't post to for some reason but it basically said how much resistance to check for and it might just be a bad distributor. Well I bought a dizzy anyway and took it all apart. Turns out the screw that holds the rotor into place fell out and was just floating around in the distributor cap. The rotor was broken and fried and the CYP sensor didn't look so great. So I changed the distributor, distributor cap, rotor, and spark plugs and no more CEL! Yay! Now I need to time it. Anyway wanted to say thanks for the info! I'll post pics soon.
