im trying to figure out if my car has a power problem, and was wondering about when v-tech regularly kicks in on the 2000 si's. no mods done to the car.

V-tech does not come on the Si. Vtec, however does.
Define this power problem. Electrical? Horsepower/torque? When's the last time you had a tune up? Let's start with that.

good s**t, im new to hondas as you can tell, but yea it kicks in around 5800 so thats strait then.
also my throttle kinda sticks at first when you first press on it, but then it gives, and im pretty sure its not the pedal because when i mess with the actual throttle body it still sticks, you know whats up with it?
clean your throttle body?
