2001 civic Cold air intake

Hi, I just got a 2001 civic ex(manual). I just want to change the sound a bit so I was looking into getting a Complete cold air intake for it. Has anyone added a cold intake to theirs? Are there any problems you get with adding it or just stay with the stock air filter.

just buy one from ebay, and put a good k&n filter on it. You won't gain much of anything
but it will sound better,& unplug your battery whle you do this or you might get a cel.

haha I see thanks. I was actually looking into those cheap intakes on ebay but I did hear about the check engine light, but I guess they are no different than the k & n expensive ones. As long as I disconnect the battery while installing the intake.
