b17 cams, now thats not something u hear everyday...

i wouldnt use the b17 cams.

i really dont have a reason, but trying something new isnt always a good thing..

depending on how the turbo/motor set up/tune is, b17 cams can be better than the stock gsr cams, my brother had the b17 cams in his integra and made 364hp and thought stock b18 gsr cams would do better so he swapped them over when i told him not to and he shot down to 316hp

i just found out that the pistons i bought were the wrong ones so i'd have to sell these ones to pick up a new set, but i know selling the pistons i have will be hard and i dont have $450 to pick up a new set of pistons and get my block re-honed..so we'll see if the build is coming to an end or if i'll keep with it

im not sure on how hard they are get a pair since my b17 cams i had were just given to me..i figure they'd be hard since the 91-93 gsr's are hard to find themselves, so the cams will be even harder to find

as you can tell, we bring alot of things home from SUBWAY haha

just another 2jz is going in

now that im taking apart the supra's engine and cleaning parts etc AND now i have to take out my motor and do things to it, its pretty cramped up..

i had my rods shot peened so that'll make them stronger..not sure if i'll keep this motor after i build it, but most likely i will

speed factory is a good shop, Ricky is a good guy and they have fast cars coming out the shop but Stefan has been my main guy working on my car since i got into the scene..and plus...i think cars that come out of his shop are faster
