89 civic 1.5

[89civicLX]

I been working on this 89 Honda civic I put a new driver side cv axel and when I pulled it transmission fluid came out I filled it with a not all the way just so I wouldn't leak when replacing the passenger side. When I was just movie the car it came to a stop while reversing it felt like the back breaks locked up but they weren't. then I put in drive and it reversed fine.
anyone have this issue and knows how to resolve?
I'm new to this. Thank you

i'm a little confused...

I would be really concerned about the fact you put it in drive and it reversed. You need to have it towed to a shop ASAP
