I recently bought a 95 civic D15B7 (not running) with a blown Head gasket and bad starter.took it apart found out the head was cracked and two of the cylinders were filled with coolant. swapped the head for a an 89 civic D15B2 head but i did a head overhaul using my 95 camshaft, valves, and rocker arms and had the head milled. new head gaskets and trying to time it now car runs but blows white smoke and sounds like it is trying to stall out. took the spark plugs out and there was sitting liquid in the first and fourth cylinder. please help if you have any experience with this before?

The head gasket is blown. Did you properly torque the head studs when reassembling? Did you check to see if the block was warped?

I torqued them down in the right and to specs but didnt check the block. it ran a coupl times and sounded good even not timed yet before it started blowing white.

Certainly sounds like another head gasket issue. Did you have the new/used head resurfaced or checked?
