95 Civic In Need Of Motor

Hey Guys,
I am new to posting here on the forum, but for the first time when I used the search function I couldn't quite find good information on what I was looking for.

Well first off I have a 95 Hatch that has 130K on the motor and on its second head gasket in 10K miles. I am not going to do it again so I am in search of a motor replacement. I am the second owner of the car and it is one of the cleanest around Sacramento area. At any rate I would like to get a motor (new or re-maned) rather than to go through what I went through with my 93 Del Sol (4 motors in 4 years from auto dis-mantelers).

So I've look around online but wasn't quite sure what I should do. The motor as it sits is a D15B7. I would like to keep the same motor so i don't have to go to BAR, but if the demand suits then I guess I can push forward with a D16 and move over to the v-tech side of things. The other thing I have going for the car is that I re-built the 5-speed last summer so the D series is kind of in my realm.

Any input would be much appreciated.
