95 civic

So recently i was given a 95 civic , im going to throw a motor in it, as it sits not im fairly sure it has the d15b7 motor in it, it has a blown head gasket, supposidly the motor was rebuilt at 120k but its at nearly 260 on the odometer now.

iv been looking it to replacing the motor, with the same, but that led me to ofc putting in a vtech, sooo now im confused as to how easy it is to do. will the d16z6 just bolt in to the old Automatic transmission, its an lx. from what iv gathered is that makes a difference in tranmission?

im just not really familar with swapping in new motors iv done motor for motor swaps on older vehicles.

If i opt for the d16z6 what other things am i going to have to worry about. if its just an Engine/ecu swap than i can handle it.

will i lose ac, will all the sensors be the same.

Pretty much is it a direct drop in is what im after?

Yes all d series motors hook up to all d series trannys so it Will be a direct fit and just change the ecu and run it.i dont think youll need a harness but just install it all and turn her on
