i dont think so. as far as i know the only difference is if one is from a car with an auto tranny and one is from a car with a manual

the head doesnt matter, its the intake manifold. just make sure u use your intake manifold. it has air injection holes . 96-98 does not. now you could use 96-98 but im not sure if theres a sensor that controls the air injection.

this is only correct for intake manifold/throttle body the heads are basically the same maybe minor difference but its a direct interchange. the difference in auto and manual besides the fact of transmission, the intake manifold/throttle body uses a 3 wire IACV and mounting position on the Throttle Body. if you were to get an intake manifold from an Auto. you would have to drill out and tap to place the IACV
