I have 6 and a half and they don't seem like they want to go in. any advice? what is the original speaker size?

You probably have to cut some of the door panel out where the speaker sits.

well what is the exact size of the stock speakers? i bought a civic with no speakers and bought some xplods to get me by for now. i tried to get them in and it doesn't seem like they want to go in.

hey if they are oversized even after you cut them the grill will not fit right, I have 6.5 components (Mb Quarts) and they are oversize, I cut into my door and they wouldn't fit right, they would even touch on the back side to the metal on the door so I had them put in the back doors (costum).

I bought some 6.5 full range rockford fosgate power and they fit perfect/
