98 civic 3rd gear grind

Hey i got a manual 5 speed and it grinds in third gear when im switching from to 3 right away. Usually i have to wait for the rpms to drop so it wont grind. Im planning on taking out the trany and try rebuilding it. Any one know some sites on how to rebuild tranys or some good deals on rebuild kits. I would appreciate you help!!!!

Honestly d series tranny's are so cheap it prolly wouldn't be worth rebuilding. I sold my y8 tranny a few weeks ago for $250.

that's right, the parts will probably be more than just buying a used one.
Tranny parts are expensive.
I switched my oil to Syncromesh and that seemed to help.
3rd gear grind is a common problem.

The syncromesh is good but royal purple makes the best gear oil.
