98 Civic CX Malfunction indicator lamp Question

if the car drives the same once this light comes on does it just mean i need a new sensor? this car has obd2 and a new exhaust installed a year ago...

is it the check engine light?
mine comes on too, but thats because there is a hole in my manifold.(i gotta get a new one)

maybe thats the case with mine.... if you look in the owners manual it says its the malfunction indicator lamp.... the other light is a maintenience required light... the one that is light up in mine is orange and to the left of the speedometer... maybe i need a new exhaust manifold
