Hey all
So I just picked up this mint 98 civic ex that the previous owner did a swap on but never completed. He said the b18b1 non vtec came out of a 99 integra ls,he also says the engine harness was swapped too but there are all sorts of sensors with nothing running to them. So the car starts and drives but the idle is irattic unless you unplug the coolant temp sensor,then there is a thump noise in the intake and it idles nice and smooth. I replased the iac, tps, and coolant temp sensors but the car only idles nice without the iac sensor plugged in when you start it.
SO
what harness should be used with this swap?
98 civic had d16y8 I believe
the ecm says ls on it so that should be correct for the engine
none of the emmisions is connected either with the exception of the o2 sensor on the manifold
