A/C help?

Hey guys, yet another awesome problem on my civic.

First off, I have a 98 civic ex coupe.

To continue, I haven't had A/C in a while due to a failing compressor, however, I could get it to blow hot air (heat).

Here's the problem: I replaced my cigarette lighter the other day and ever since I can't even get my vents to blow hot air. The only change i made was hooking up the new cigarette lighter + disconnecting an old radio that some genius had stowed away behind my dash panel. Also, when I open my doors, my overhead light no longer comes on. I've checked all fuses already, so spare me.

Thanks in advance.

you may need to replace the pressure switch. it just unscrews and screw on the new one. it costs about eight dollars from the dealer and is most likely the problem.

Thanks man! I'll look into it. Probably just a coincidence that it happened at the time I disconnected the old radio and installed new cig lighter?

Your dome light no longer works because it was wired through the stock stereo that was hidden behind the dash. There are some wires you can jump to get it back to normal, I think.
