A/C...to be...or not to be..

Ok, I've replaced EVERYTHING in my A/C system except for the Evaporator, Compressor (still kicks on and is alive and well) and the part in the dash, and I still have NO A/C! When I charge the A/C, my compressor kicks on, but I can put a whole can of refrigerant in it and when I check the Shrader valve on the hot and cold lines, I have no pressure. A local guy said it could be my evaporator, but I need some 2nd opinions...

charged and no pressure? you have a leak, add dye to your oil and check for leaks with a black light or dye light around fittings, compressor seals, fittings, and lines
