I realize that this is probably a dumb@$$ question and that u wanna slap me for it but here it goes anyways. Is there any effect to painting aftermarket springs? Do they need to be primed or preped if u do paint them? Sorry for the idiocy! PEACE!

why would you need to do this? you cant see the springs of a lowered car very easily. so why worry about it?

You mean retarded, btw.
Use high temp, flexible paint. They're constantly in motion while you're driving.

This is a waste of time unless this is primarily a show car...they're just gonna get dirty...and you really can't see them anyway.

The paint probably flake off anyway, most springs are rubber-coated

^^ yep. every non-stock spring i have seen is coated in rubber.... so i dunno how u would manage to paint it. i too am curious as to why u would like to do this, cuz u really cant see it, and it will just get coated with brake dust and crap after a week of driving.

What you can do is, get them powdercoated.
But, Why waste money on that anyways.
